Perhaps some of you will remember that in previous years we used to get together at the start of the same event to have breakfast together - always on our necks!

Nah, nonsense, on that day we always spent what was left over in the collection box from previous events, thanks of course to the participants' willingness to donate.

There was the "Australia Day 2018 - Aussie Breakfast" event, the "5-34-331" event or the one I can't find anymore. And then Corona came along and put a spanner in the works for the next few years. In 2022, we were finally able to set up the collection tin again and offer a breakfast event on the very first day of the year.

But now to the point, as in previous years, there will also be a joint breakfast at a well-known location this year. We would be delighted if there was a large turnout. We pushed the event back a little, the beginning of the year was already booked and "MultiKulti kulinarisch - Station 5 - Carnaby" also demanded its place in January, so as self-confessed carnival deniers, we thought about offering an alternative to all like-minded people. And because it's the fifth breakfast event, the fifth season also fits ☝️☝️☝️

The end of carnival is Ash Wednesday. Its date depends directly on the position of Easter: In 325, at the Council of Nicaea, the date of Easter was set for the first Sunday after the spring full moon.
